I was given a National HOG membership in 2011 when I bought my first Harley and then I joined the local (Murfreesboro, TN) chapter in 2012. I've not attended any national events, and honestly don't know if I ever will, but I'm very happy with the local chapter so I'll be maintaining my membership for the foreseeable future.

I think you just like having the fastest bike in the chapter! :2vrolijk_21:

Hi Pete,

While that is a bonus, it's more for bragging rights than anything else, (unless I'm leading the way  ::) )

I have been a National and Local HOG member for more than 10 years.  Some years we are very active and some years not so much (Grandkids get in the way).

But I do agree with what some of the earlier folks have stated that "you get out of it what you put in".
