Life member at national levels for probably 20 plus years.  Was member of local chapter, but dropped local membership several years ago.  Typical ride for local chapter is an hour or so to restaurant for lunch and then back home - l'm looking for more than that in a day ride.  Now I just ride with a couple of friends who consider a day ride to be 250 miles or more on back roads for six hours or so.

I am an International member with HOG Korea. They put on some good events. Traveled with them to China once just above the North Korean border.

Whats your HOG membership number? (I'm assuming pretty low as you started in '83)

I met Steve Piehl, who's number is extremely low, considering he is the man that created HOG.

I've been active since I bought my first new HD in '02.

Past: Secretary, Director, Membership, Road Captain, Head Road Captain.

Current: "Past Officer" and Hawaii State Rally Coordinator

Member of First State chapter, DE. Not much of a participant, however. Ride with other members of the chapter, mostly non-HOG rides.       JoeS

Joined the Music City Chapter after buying my first Ultra Limited partly to get a small discout the dealer offered and partly to see how I liked it.  Enjoyed the discount for a year but found I did not have much in common with the group and enjoyed riding with other friends occasionally.  Dropped membership until I bought my current RGU and have rejoined the Murfreesboro Chapter.  Like the people here but no chapter discount.  Does not matter because dealership gives me 15% off anything for two years for buying my bike there.  Still like riding with other friends but may rejoin this chapter as they are pretty good folks and have lots of activities I can do or not.
