Well this is disappointing, the Crusher come very highly rated, so I did a search and found the Maverics, man they look great!! Oh, they are junk? Not a fan of the look of the others.

How do the "good" Crushers compare to Fullsac sound wise? What baffle size in Fullsac, compares the sound Of the Crusher?

It sound like the Crusher gets the nod on performance?

You guys are getting me thinking about these Crusher Slip-Ons.

Would I be correct in my reading of the website that the Marksman and Crusader are the standard type Crushers and the Trident and Slip Streams are the mellow type Crushers ??

Thinking about jumping on a set.

Thanks!

Ok Ok Ok, final question(s)

1. Are these part of the "good" line? Some of the Crushers are not as good as others. I like the look of the Marvric, but they are supposed to be junk.
2. Looks like the 547 or 549 are the non-mellow and 550 are the mellow... although it's kind of hard to tell for sure.

Thanks,  I have already viewed the site.  I find it somewhat confusing as to what is mellow and what is not.  I did see the word mellow on the Trident and Slip-Streams.  I was just asking for confirmation.

jpg,

Their site kind of sucks... I am finding if you Google Kuryakyn Trident Crusher, you will get hits with different part numbers. Some refer to mellow, and some don't. It would be nice to know for sure though...

The Crusher Trident tip and Slipstream tip are the same mufflers, just different tips. Both mufflers come in a "mellow" version.

These are the original mufflers that get all the praise for their performance.

The newer style Crusher mufflers are the Maverick, Marksman, and whichever other ones. They do not have the same reputation for performance, and are not the ones people speak of when they talk about the "good" Crusher mufflers.

The mavericks are a 2.5 inch baffle and are a poor option. Their purpose is for someone putting on just mufflers and leaving the cat alone. Their are a lot of manufactures out their selling mufflers for noise only, but of course they never advertise them that way. They do however make a quiet baffle that if I remember correctly is 2" louverard, but you can not order them that way.

These mufflers and lack of information on them is killing me. I see they sell "Slash Cut" tips for the Trident muffler, they also sell the Kuryakyn 549 Slash Slip on. Do you know, is the 549 the good muffler?

Here is a video showing how to install the tips on the Trident muffler.
https://youtu.be/OS1nw_5GuVc

Here is the 549 slash tip muffler at Amazon... Is this the good muffler with the tip already on it?
https://www.amazon.com/Kuryakyn-549-Slash-Chrome-Slip/dp/B00SK10HLS

I want the good mufflers, but like the black slanted tips to match my bags.

It is so hard to find any facts on these mufflers!!!!

Thanks

Right this second I have Fullsac "B" pipe, with CVO cans and Fullsac 2.25 mufflers.

I read somewhere along the line that the "good" Crushers perform better than the 2.25's but have close to the same sound level, and a little deeper. I really like the look of the CVO cans with the black tips. The Slash cut mufflers don't appear to be the "good" Crushers, BUT, you can get the slash tips and put on the Trident or Slipstream. Just spend some more money......
