    • CVO1: 1999 ROADGLIDE Ultra SOLD

Had a buddy call me the other day to see if I was interested in riding u tp almost Myrtle Beach for lunch today. He just got a new to him 2014 Ultra (Bat Wing ) He was dying to show off. Being the wonderful person that I am, I said sure. He knew of a restaurant in Pawleys Island  that had the best Lobsah Rolls and Steamahs this side of Boston. Well we took a nice round about ride up around Lake Moultrie over then over to Mecellianville and up through Georgetown then up the coast to Pawleys Island. About a 3 hour ride, just enough to get your appetite up. So we get there and I see Philly Cheese steak on the menu and ordered that with a bowl of chowdah. Skip gets the Lobstah Roll and Chowdah. Well, the Lobstah Roll left a lot to be desired as it was full of fillers and very little Lobstah. The Chowdah hit the spot and the Philly Cheese steak was great ( made with Cheese Wizz ).
All in all a good ride and great fellowship.
Try again in a week or two.

Mike

I saw a show on one of those cooking channels where they toured some of the better cheesesteak houses in the east.  Seems like they said cheese whiz was the way to go if you were gonna do it right.  Surprised me that they didn't use something "better", but I ain't from up thataway, either.

Always enjoy those 3 hour rides just to go eat a late lunch somewhere. They usually turn into a 300+ mile Sunday for us. One of our favorite things to do is head towards southern Ohio for lunch taking in the sites riding the two lanes through Amish country.
