Any accommodation recommendations, close to Duvall St.?

Any can't miss, fun things to do or restaurants that we should not miss?

Rented at Miami Harley Davidson and rode down.  We stayed at Duval Inn.  Great place and walking distance to the water front and everything up and down Duval Street.  http://www.duvalinn.com/

We've been numerous times. We've stayed at the Best Western just off Duval st most of the time. We stayed the the other best western on the ocean side a couple of times also.

Just stay close enough to Duval St to walk to/from your hotel or you'll have to use a cab.

I have rode every bran new Harley I have owned to Key West from Knoxville TN.  I have used a couple chain hotels.  The last four times we have been using  bed and breakfast on the quiet end of Duval St.  Easy walk to any where on Duval, and not bad to Mallory Square for the sun sets.

This bed and breakfast is Duval Gardens.  Nice old house, small pool, nice siting areas and balconies.  Its also two blocks from the Hemingway House.

Things to see.
Hemingway House
Mallory Square Sunset
Southernmost point
Little White House

Night life
Captain Tonys
Sloppy Joe's
Irish Kevins
and many many more.

I like to sit at Carolin's right next to side walk have a cigar and a few beers and people watch.  Several place to do this.

I've been to Key West several times. Last few times I have stayed at the Double Tree near the airport. It is a few miles from Duval St. but is much quieter.

Key Lime in is close but expensive. Real nice parking near rooms but the bums still stole out of anything unlocked. Including my buddy's lock out of a fork roll. Dummies

Used to go there twice a year for close to ten years. Most of the time rented a condo in the Truman Annex from a friend.  When it was full stayed at the Angelina House. If you've never been your going to love it if you like to bar hop. Heading back this year.

I see jet skis tuned you into a child too. I sold ours when in one season I got hurt and a week later my wife got tossed off and screwed her back up. Something about them made us drive like little kids lol
