Morning after,

spent last night doing a real good once over, and was able to polish 95% of the surface scratches out of the one bag
no sign of hitting the exhaust
no busted bolt mounts
License plate frame took a hit but not worth worrying about
and a real small dent in the fender, that I think my "dent dogs" guys could pop that out
and this morning
with the exception of just a slight sore back all is good, thanks to my new "tall boy" back rest I'm sure
I think I got lucky because I had just engaged the clutch to go to second?

I've already Texted the young lady that God was looking after us both,
both will be more aware
and both should go on with life
and that the issue did not warrant me following up with the claim
and putting a serious mark on a Honorable young person's driving record

plus I want to put the issue behind me and go to the Lone Star Rally next week!

Sounds like when you say she knocked you forward, that forward motion kept your bike from taking more of the impact.  And it also sounds like that was a very good thing for both you and your bike.
Go enjoy your rally, brother!  Glad all seems to be well!  Always a scary thing!

and get some of those Purdie Blue lights on mine to!

Had a rider in front of me bump a lady on a Switchback a few months back.  I could not even tell they touched fenders.  She told me later it was costing him $500 to repair and paint her fender.  I think he covered it out of pocket.

just in case someone else tries to run over me

I hate it, when the close up too much to the rear of my bike!! 

Glad it was only the bike bent and not you.  Metal can be repaired, skin/bones a bit harder.
