New alternate ride
« on: November 07, 2015, 10:18:32 AM »

Getting a bit long in the tooth for mid-length rides on the Sportster, and this one caught my eye.  The rest, as they say, is history.... :mango:

It does have a flair to it. Congrats on the new horse for your impressive stable.

Thanks Guys!  I know that the "military theme" has been done a lot, but this one caught my eye, and I thought "wth".  They dealer is installing passing lamps, and it should be ready for pickup next week.  I have a Brown Distressed Mustang seat w/ backrest waiting in the den.... :)

I like it! I'd Fly a U.S. Flag on it and ride around wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

In addition, I may even sing the Star Spangled Banner from time to time.... :)

That is exactly why I made the change from a Sportster- after 125 miles or so, it was tough on the back, even though it was a blast to ride.  With the rider backrest, this should be good for a couple of hundred mile trip for lunch.  The SESG is still the primary ride.

saw one in asheville while at the MVGTG. it had the name of a father vet on one side & son on the other side. father's dob & dod on it. sons side only had dob. thinking he's still living. is yours as such or are they all different. be really cool if the all are different. go around seeing how many different ones you can account for.

Congratulations on the new ride.  Was at our dealer last Saturday and saw a new one get delivered.  New owner was all smiles can't understand why!  Told him you're gonna really like the 110 and the softail combination.  Many enjoyable miles and smiles to you.

I think that had to be a custom paint addition to the bike; I'm thinking about having my service ribbons and A/C wings painted on the rear fender.  Not sure yet.

Thanks, I have ridden my better half's (halves?) CVO Convertible and it is a blast to ride with the 110.
