Yeah I like the chopped bagger look myself.

Yes Mike,

I would say that is a bit of a "chunky monkey". So now you can offer them a choice of names for said ride!

So Magoo is their reasoning behind changing the brakes? I'm curious about your motivation!  [smiley=idea2.gif]

Part of the problem is the caliper that HD uses for there brakes are not wearing true because of the pins that hold the pads cause drag so the pads have a pretty good taper,  which to me means they are not working as good as they could be.  Are the pistons running true in there bores?  Am i getting all the braking they could provide NO,  so am going with a proven system.  I ride every day rain or shine(and it rain alot here in the nw so brakes are GOOD BRAKES ARE VERY Important to me. Plus bigger is better.

The Brembo brakes that Gary had on his Glide up at Street Vibrations had two pads on each side that's four leading edges of a disc pad for each caliper........stopping power without skidding due to lockup.

I have Brembo on my chopper...they are worth the difference...considering replacing them on the FLHTCSE...as always, only a matter of $$$.

Four piston calipers on 12.6in ten spoke rotors, the rear will be 11.8 in with a four piston caliper as well.  Like JC says these are excellent brakes and as much as I ride I fell it is justifiable to me and that all the really matter.  Will run about $2250.00 when I'm done. Not to mention that they look down right awsome.[smiley=biker.gif]

Picked up the brakes yesterday,  will try and get them on this weekend and post pic's.  When they arrived was told that the rears are only avalible as 11.5 not 11.8 no explanation.

No brakes this weekend sent them all back the rears are the wrong size and the fronts where not 4 pad units so I guess I will have to wait.

Who was the vendor Magoo?  That's a lot of expensive brake hardware to so completely screw up the order on.

The vendor was Drag Specalties and not sure where the screw up was on the fronts me not being clear to the parts guy, his ordering,or the vendor the rears are just plain wrong in the catolog.  All I know is they are not right so they sent the back.  The big bummer is that they drag specalties have no eta on when they will get the 4 pad units in.  So am trying to go to the importer QTM for help.
