Not usually a big college ball fan.  But interested enough to watch tonight's game.  It was a fun one to watch too.  Didn't care who won just glad it was a good game. 

Nothing can be taken from either squad either from their season or tonight's game.  The only thought I had relative to the outcome struck me in the 3rd quarter.  If Alabama wins the narrative is all about Saban and his many wins and long history.  If Clemson wins the story is about the team on the field.  I think I'd have enjoyed the latter a little more for a college game.  But it was a heck of a game either way  :2vrolijk_21: .

Don I'm with you 2 super teams. Clemson quarterback was awesome. That man has no fear of running the ball. To me their both winners no matter the outcome. Could have went either way. However I know Jimmy would be disappointed in me if I didn't gloat.  :huepfenlol2:

I'm usually all SEC fan although my Vols have not done well in the last few years.  Happy with the outcome and it was a great game to watch.  Never watched Clemson much but whole new appreciation for them after last nights game.

That's funny, forgot you like the other Alabama team.  I'm not sure if 2K survived the game or not. :huepfenlol2:

 If Clemson had a few more like their quarterback they would have run away with the game.  Not a fan of the Soccer type kicks Clemson was doing, but old Alabama sure showed them how to do a good one in the 4th.  Almost like something you would see kids do by accident but hey it sure worked out for them.  Both teams are great unfortunately there always has to be a winner and a loser but I think Clemson and their Alabama born and raised coach are going to do great.

You not going to believe this Jim....but my laptop crashed(really). That's what took me so long to answer.....and you are spot on, I would have thought less of you not to rub it a little. Clemson won the statistics--Alabama won the score--Bama's special teams won the game. They deserve the trophy!!!

I've said it in other posts man your quarterback is awesome he has a great ability and doesn't mind running the ball. He got a lot of first downs himself. Clemson is going to be a tuff team to beat with people like him. Alabama special teams are tough they sure make up for any other weak points. How's the Lexis doing.

I'm a UT Vols fan.  That was a great game, really enjoyed watching it.  One of the best championship match ups I have seen.

Was pulling for Clemson as I lived in SC for 8 years and have always respected the team.
