Yes the tire does , its called up sprung weight and the heavier it is the engine has to work harder to turn it.. That is why if you want to be on the ultra light side today is carbon fiber wheels.. Helps in reducing stopping distance as well..  But what you do math on vs what really happens well thats a whole new can of worms as the B engine is not just two heavy counter weights you have chains, two more hyd wear tesiononer shoes plus the long plastic wear strips all drag..

No I cannot hazard a  guess I am sorry but really no way to know until its built.

as for how it measure power simple rate of acceleration from one revolution to the next ..

Thanks for the reply Steve

yes I understand the difference between Sprung & Unsprung weight quite well, check my aviator

what would you suggest for a pipe........

Would the D&D Low cat system work with this or would you suggest a better pipe for the breakout

The thunder header has been suggested but I would be interested in hearing your thoughts

Regards
Rod

Yes I saw it not always sure if that is what you do or want to do..  I crew on a car we shook the tires dead out the hole system pulled back timing it hooked we where .0027 off our normal 60 foot went still had a great run , 1/8 mile X275 outlaw.. Some heavy hitter around here way more scratch then I have to spare

my 62 truck not so fast at this point getting there though. 406 dart engine two guns 4100 stall 4l80e D3 rattle snake trans brake moser 35 spline 9 inch 3.73 gear.. pump gas engine made 901 at the crank on both guns all in .

Way slow compared to most but I like it and its a real driver

T header has never been great they almost always produce a big tq dip down low ,  the DD low cat is something but you are going to need to under stand that it still may not produce the best numbers.. Pipe is a killer of power when things dont match up.. The bagger is a long tube header vs a set of shorty/ mid length headers .

That's some killer numbers Steve, it must be packing some boost :)

Best I have been involved with is 6.96 @ 190.84, this new steed is from your side of the world when KB's owned it & it was raced in the Summit flamed paint scheme, once I have it sorted I will be putting my son in this one.

Is there a better pipe that you would suggest for the Breakout ???

turbo car doings it's thing, they are always a big end runner.. If he had not carried the wheels so far he would have been quicker. ton of air under that car slowing him down..  The potential on the stang is huge .. look at the MPH !!!!! He needed that .5 and its all about the little things at that point.. Either way hell of run for both cars.  :2vrolijk_21:

           UPDATE!!!

Had to take the day off today, I got a  surprise phone call late yesterday afternoon from Keyboard Carriage, Romeo will be home today around 1pm, only 5 days to deliver him from Steve's  :huepfenjump3:   I was using my garage for storage for the all the chite I had to remove from my rental property which is under agreement for sale. How you end up collecting all this junk when you have two houses I don't know :nixweiss:  but I have to make room today. Still plenty of salt on the roads from the recent snows Sunday & Monday temps around 43 today but some decent rain and warmer temps starting on Thursday with any luck I might get some riding in this weekend !

I know what 119/127 feels like in an Ultra, so at 138/138, I know you're gonna have a rocket! Be prepared for unintended wheelies!!

I can't wait to see what Steve does with mine!
