Hey, all you folks out east make sure your bikes are tucked away safely and take care that you have emergency supplies on hand.  This storm looks to be a biggie and I want all of you around to go riding after the thaw!

Snowmargeden has begun... I hate winter!!! :bigcry: Went out before it started... filled my truck up with gas, picked up some last minute groceries, and went by the ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control - state operated liquor store) and picked up some "human antifreeze". Now I sit and wait to go shovel every so often when it gets a couple inches deep. My cardio exercise for the next couple days will be shoveling. :D :D

Good luck to all of you getting snowed in!

It's because of weather like this that we won't book flight to 'the far south' that go through Toronto, Montreal, New York, etc. 
Houston, San Fran, LAX.....don't usually get snowed in!

I was out to Wilmington NC all this week and returned late yesterday to the St. Louis area. 

The weather at my connection in Charlotte NC was in the mid 40's and sunny yesterday.  I heard on the news this morning that the Charlotte airport was pretty much shut down due to cancellations in/out.

Glad I didn't have to stay there until today...

Yes, all of you out there getting hit big time, take care and don't do anything silly and get hurt.  Hire the neighbor kid to shovel your drive/walk if possible.  It isn't worth the effort.

Careful with the snow shoveling, I have lost a few friends that had heart attacks just shoveling snow. :'(

I'll be real careful, they said on the news this evening, our crack meteorologist, that we had a very slight chance of receiving 2 to 3 snowflakes tomorrow. I'm not kidding, he actually said that on TV. So, I will be vigilant and pick them up if they fall.

You guys probably don't want to know that I'm in Ariz. this weekend and it's 75F and I spent the day in a t-shirt.

Seriously.....it's all over the news out here and I really feel for those of you that are having it much worse than usual or those just having it at all, that it's not normal (like Mikeytee!).  I just hope you guys are really prepared for it.

They had the recent flooding in San Diego that stranded and flooded many, many cars even thow everybody was warned far in advance.  They just couldn't wrap their heads around that it was going to be as bad as it was and so many people were caught unprepared.  I just hope that everybody back there really is prepared and that none of you suffer any real property damage.

I've been working in shifts... I also (do cardio) workouts six days a week to try to keep the heart healthy. :2vrolijk_21:
