Welcome to the forum.  First, Wild One makes great bars; very high quality and good looking.  I've put them on 3 bikes and have been very happy with them.  But the question is, what are you trying to accomplish?  Are you trying to get grips closer or farther away; trying to change wrist angle; just going for a different look?  How tall are you (so people can report how a particular bar worked for their height)?  This is a Road Glide bar, but for many questions it helps to know what bike you are going to modify.  So let us know what your goal is, and the bike, so we can help.

Thanks for the respond Para Bellum. First i ride a 2011 RG CVO. I stand 5'9" tall. Trying to get the bars closer to me. The wrist action on the 517 is high so thats one of my concerns. I like the width n rise. Just finishing my coffee then heading outside to measure the stock bars. The Chubby website was very informative. Lots of visual.BTW this site has been very productive for me. Any help will be appropriated. Cheers

On long rides I want my feet up and the back rest solidly into my lower back so I'm not leaning forward at the shoulders.  To do that, the bars need both rise and pullback---but for me, the rise is the overriding concern, since with enough rise, I can tilt the bars back toward me.  I had one set of bars where I didn't get enough rise, and when tilted back far enough, they got too low (I made them work by pushing my back rest all the way forward, but I learned: get enough rise).

When I was measuring for my new bars, I put the bike in the wheel chock so it was straight up, put my feet on the highway pegs, got my back where I wanted it, and put my arms out in space with the right amount of elbow bend, wrist angle, and height.  Then I had a buddy measure the height, pullback, and width that would put the bars right where I wanted them (using the Wild One measurement system as the basis).

I went with the 502 bars.  The 502 come up 4" higher than the 517, so there's more tilt available to get the right height and distance.  The 502 is wide and has a relaxed wrist angle, so my hands are in a natural straight line with my forearms, not twisted outward like some bars will have you.

I ended up with bars that let me ride all day with no shoulder, back, or wrist issues; as a bonus, from the side view, the bars are on a straight line with the front forks, so it looks good.  I know this sounds like overkill, but the cost of bars, labor and wear and tear of pulling the wires through the bars make it worthwhile to do just once.  Hope this helps.

I love my Factory 47 bars. You should check them out before you buy any bars. They are great to work with and the quality is great.

I have WO 575's on the CUSE and WO 508's on the SERK and have always loved them. However, as Mike(& many others) have said the Factory 47's are top notch(and most are 1 1/2). I will, and you should, check them out before getting bars.

Measured my bars and i'm looking for a 10" rise and 14" pullback with 33" in wide. And hoping to use the stock cables. Is it possible?

Yes, usually can with up to 12" rise & 14" pullback, but you might have to reroute the cables.  You also might need an extension kit for the wiring inside.  Here's one of the companies that make them:  http://www.namzcustomcycleproducts.com/products/throttle_by_wire_ext.html
