Do you use a Heel Guard? If so, which brand/model do you use?
I have to do something about the boot marks on my heat shield (right side).

Have had heel guards on every bike I've had for... well... not sure how long.  Probably 30 years.  Always use the downturn style that runs parallel to foot and footboard.  Don't like the type turn out behind the footboard.  That one keeps you from sliding your foot back where you often do without even thinking about it while looking for a new comfortable "spot."
