I wonder how many tires, oil changes and tanks of gas for this trip? Besides that, I can't even begin to imagine how someone could manage to take that much time out of their life for such an epic journey, but it sure does look like fun. I only get 2 weeks vacation out of the year and can never make up my mind where to go or what to do with it and this guy was lucky enough to take a year and a half, lol. How do you like the road at 1:44??

That would be an epic adventure! I'm guessing he had some sponsors.  That road @1:44 wasn't as scary as the lane splitting and curb riding in those urban areas in traffic to me.
