Hello all, I decided to join in order to learn from all of you and, with time, contribute. My 5th bike and my first CVO. Traded my 2012 FLHTK in Tequila Sunrise with 44k miles for a spanking new 2016 FLHTKSE in PALLADIUM SILVER/PHANTOM BLUE. Had it a week now and been working to much to get more that a few hundred miles on her. So far, So good. Loaded a couple routes and those worked fine even though it could stand a couple improvements. Saving favorites to the Infotainment is just nuts. No matter what I do, when I push that button, the WB channel comes on. Grrrr. Anyway, The heated seat takes much longer to get hot than one on the 12 Limited but once it gets hot, it gets nice and hot. One thing bugs me is attaching the bags, The pins are REALLY, REALLY hard to get properly twisted and locked, I mean, REALLY hard. Anyone help with that would be great. Anyway, I'll get a coupe pictures soon as I get time away from work.

Greetings and welcome to the site.

As you may already know there is a vast array of experience within our membership that stand ready to assist you in your riding pleasure, not to mention spend some of your hard earned coin.  Take it all in and enjoy!

Welcome from GA.  I don't know why you go to the weather station but I think there were a few people that mentioned their stations just went to the weather. The only time I had any issues was when the battery was going out. I still haven't figured out how to stop it from switching to the weather in a weather alert situation. I am riding in it and I know it is bad!  There were several posts about the bags originally would fall off and a recall was done which is probably why the locking is so strong. There is a post to use thumb screws instead. I bought the stuff but still need to put them on. It seems like it would be easier. Enjoy the bike, I love ours!

Welcome from Maine David! Can't help with infomat issues as my bike is a '13, but it didn't take me long to purchase secure fasteners for the bags.
