here it is
BigChuck,
I am not saying you have to get HUNG up on Numbers or that this is the case until some things get VERIFIED. Such as the Software level used to dyno the bike from Dynojet.
However, when someone pays for headwork etc the bike and results should produce more than 1 to 1 on power. Respected or not its something to consider when you paid for PERFORMANCE. If the numbers in this case are 10 percent less he has less than one should even expect. So there is some relativity here no matter what the seat of the pants say.
an Example based on what we are shown 126/123 less 10 percent is 114/111 out of a 117 with headwork per the bill and stated by the owner. I can almost get here with a 110 and and a cam, exhaust and tune. 116/105 so why spend the money to go 117 over 5-6 hp which you can not feel.
The rah rah of ohh your happy is great, but if i were to spend money with someone which included performance work and get less than 1:1 i would be looking for them to stand up and make it right as I would expect any other if they value what they work hard for. 110 heads with work and moderate compression should be able to produce easily in the 125 to 130 square range both sides on current level dynos and software. If the number is gotten by dyno games or from using old software to get there the customer/buyer is being short changed in a big way. I am not saying that has happened, but it surely would need to be vetted out if it were my bike.
Just my perspective. otherwise why not just have a stealer bolt it and walk away.
