Now back to the question of Rosa's and the win pep version lots of banter and avoidance but no response guess it must be win pep 6 version otherwise  why avoid it?

If it bothers you so much why don't you call him and ask?  Be sure to mention that you think he is putting out inflated numbers. 😃😃😃😃

........in your opinion.

I suggest you take the time to vet Rosas Cycle further. It's a excellent company with a steller reputation in the industry.

The silence says all that is needed.   Otherwise they would have refuted it by now.

Asking out of ignorance and wanting a little education as much as anything when it comes to dyno sheets and the inflated, uninflated, and underinflated. We all get hung up on numbers and tuners and builders know it. We take the bike to a good tuner and he gets us a good tune, but regardless of how the bike runs they know so many of us wants a piece of paper that say OMG this motor is great. So they show you great. I had a pretty respected tuner in this area that uses 4 gas analysis tell me that if I wanted a good tune come see him, if I am chasing numbers bring him the bike and let him tune it, then go put the bike on someone elses dyno for a pull for the pretty sheet, his dyno wasn't going to show pretty. Gained some respect for him right there.

All that said what are the tricks that are being used to get a pretty sheet? Scaling, over inflating the back tire, the leaf blower stuffed in the intake while step loading, climate controled intake air. What are the other tricks being used?

Ask him what version of winpep he is using and ask for a SAE sheet with the correction factors on it.   While there you may also want a gear sheet and the SAE Run done in time instead of rpm.    This will show you how the clutch is doing in the gear sheet.  The timed sheet will show you how fast the motor spooled up to rev limiter and the SAE sheet will have the correction factors to show you temp, humidity and the numbers.

Let's take all the Motorsickles to Maxton, or somewhere we can stretch 'em out absent any traffic, and see who's the King of the Hill.  Not a month from now.........but pretty quick, so everybody has to run what they have right now.  A wager could even be possible.  All I want is a trial run, solo, to see how Maybelle handles, stretched plumb out.  I don't know how long her legs are, yet.  Not saying I'll be the Winner, but I will find out what she's got........win, lose, or blown to hell.  Later--HUBBARD

Is anybody there?  Maybe I would get a response if I asked everybody show up at the track, and just bring their dyno sheets.  LMAO!  Later--HUBBARD

Hubbard,

Interesting idea right up till you figure out all the items your gonna have or have to put on your motorsickle to be allowed to run there.

http://ecta-lsr.net/motorcycle-safety/

I figure the first dis-qualifier is the leather riding suit.    :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Steering Dampner, tether for your kill switch, H rated or higher tires dont recall what ours are rated at, All axle-retaining nuts, pinch bolts, axle caps and axles shall be safety wired or

otherwise secured by visually verifiable means. Lock washers, self-locking nuts or

thread-locking compounds do not meet this requirement.

Metal caps with 0 rings for the valve stems.

Snell rated helmet.

Guess I am back to the old fashion method.
