Tuned a bike for Don Schultz of Schultz Motorcycle service out of Yuma AZ today. Don brought over a 2012 CVO with a fresh SE 117 top end kit

Here's the complete Parts list

SE 117 slip on
SE 58 TB
Tman 600
Stock heads
DX Pipe
2.0 Power cores.

An economy build that really delivered with excellent drivability, big TQ early with a beautiful curve crossing 100 FT pounds at 2300.
117 HP and 126 peak TQ.

Nice job Don! Thanks for riding with a Fullsac!

On this build, does no head work also mean the stock gasket was used? With that, I'm assuming the "stock" compression this kit offered was fine for the T-man 600's?

My other questions may be for the owner. I wondering if he was bound to buying the full 117 kit and being stuck with the components from it that he didn't use, like the 259 cams for example. Or if he was somehow able to buy just what he needed from the kit without all the other bells and whistles. If I choose to do this kit in the future, there would be a handful of items I wouldn't want or need.

Thank you!

You can buy it as a full kit or just the cylinders and pistons.  If you are not wanting to use the cams that come in the kit the cylinder/piston kit retails for right around $1300.

Thanks!

I would really like to see this one with my smaller 1.75 baffles. Everything would have happened about 250 RPM sooner.  :2vrolijk_21:

Earlier TQ= less shifting= less work= more fun. I must be getting lazy.
