On the the advice of many on this site I went with the Fullsac dx pipe and 2" cores. I also got the TTS tuner. No dyno needed. Saved $. Couldn't be happier

Oh, boy!  You're gonna get a lot of different replies with this one!

I like my header pipes, plus I think they look great.  The slip-ons are a little louder than V&H touted them to be, though.  Maybe that's because they're on a 110 instead of the usual 103?
Anyway, mine are subdued compared to some, but still give a deep rumble that resonates in a full-face or 3/4 helmet.  I've taken to wearing good earplugs to cut back on the low bass thrumming I get with them.

If you're more interested is "sound" rather than performance....then that all depends on the end user and a sound clip on a computer is not going to be close to the real thing.  Go to a rally or GTG and start doing the research first hand.

If you want performance for that 110" then go with Fullsac headpipe and baffles and the tuner.  Incredable difference on an other wise completely stock motor (no headwork, cams, etc.) in regards to sound and performance.    JMHO   :2vrolijk_21:

Go with his full exhaust system, not loud enough for you? It's easy to swap out baffles, too loud? go smaller baffles.
Best of all, it's something you can do yourself and Steve can provide maps to make the bike run properly with whatever baffle you run.
These "systems" have been around for awhile and have proven to work! Not only seat of the pants, but, dyno proven.
I've found not to believe too much on hype or Utube sound bites and instead use the real world tests.
I don't have to wear ear plugs, can hear my tunes and no droning on the hiway (depending on core size).
JMHO and using this same exhaust setup since '08 on different bikes.

This is probably the best quality/true to life sound clip of the fullsac set up with 2" cores.

Not sure if he is a forum member, but he did a great quality video of idle and drive by's.

FULLSAC  dtx headpipe with 2" cores and one wrap of muffler packing, screaming eagle race tuner with dyno. Like you i spent hours online reading before making this decision. I could not be happier with my choice. A very good increase in power(dyno's don't lie) and the sound is much more than stock, without being ridiculous, much deeper than i was expecting. Its as loud as i want to be, however noise is a very subjective topic . There is no doubt that fullsac gets great numbers, where as some of the other choices may sound great but can actually change your torque curve until higher rpms are met, much later than most guys shift their bikes. My set up has 100 lbs torque at 2,000 rpm , and hits max torque at 3,000 rpm. Nice and low where i spend majority of my time riding. Lots of choices just depends on what you want out of it, looks? noise? power increase? I think fullsac has it all!

I went with true dual BUB 7's with a tuner.. after hearing a friend come up the street with them.. nice low sound.. I think there is a you tube video showing how they sound.  good luck on your search!
