Taking the plung!!
« on: April 12, 2016, 03:16:40 PM »

For some time now it's been kicked back and forward more time then an football at an English match. I've been wanting to move out off London to a more saner and country surroundings.
I hope I'm not being too premature posting this, an offer has been made on this hope to be new upcoming  digs. It's in a place called Grantham about 2.5 hrs ride north of London. I was up there and viewed it yesterday stayed over at my sisters and back to London today. Now I wait on the out come.

That's a great looking English cottage in the countryside, Pete.  I agree with the "knock that bloody wall down" philosophy.  Just think, you will be able to keep the scooter at the house instead of a storage area....that alone is well worth the move... :2vrolijk_21:

I looked where Grantham was located.  It's just a hop, skip and jump from Nottingham....you could be the sheriff... ;D

Will you be farther from you nephew or closer?  How's Twyla feeling about moving out of the city?  It's a big change but in my opinion well worth getting away for the hustle and bustle.  Good luck with the purchase and eventual move.

Thanks Howard,    Hope it dose work out. Can't wait to get out of the city. That garage is a boness being as big as it is, most are one car and only just wide enough to squeeze out of the car.
In Nottingham there is a HD shop (wait for it) it's called Robin Hood Harley.  The Bungalow is a 5 min walk from my sister and 15 min ride from my nephew.
Going to put barn style hinged swing doors on the garage to match with the gate, leaving the glass sliders.
The old girl is looking forward to it as well
