My wife is vertically challenged for most Harleys so she has a Softail Deluxe Champion conversation.

on the way to Galveston:

when I decided to get a bike, the army required that I take the msf basic course.  being taught her on post, it was free, and they had room for the wife also.  I tell you the quickest way to get a second bike, is to have to ride bitch on your own bike LOL.....

but I wouldn't have it any other way.  she's my best riding partner

My wife took the MSF in March of 07, got her first bike in April 07, a 07 883 Low, put 22K on it and we traded it Jan of 09 for her 09 Heritage which currently has just over 96K miles on it.  In Dec 11 she got a 2011 Street glide to go with the Heritage.  When the Street Glide hit 46K she traded it on a 13 Street glide.  When she it 47K on the 13 Street glide she traded it on her 15 Road Glide Special.  This bike has just over 33K on it.  So she has over 200K miles in 9 years.

This was in the Bad Lands on our way to Sturgis for the 75th, hers is the custom painted purple one.

Closer look at paint.  Its a custom color harley did for 3 months in 2011, which was the color of her 11 Street glide

Awesome to see so many female riders, sure makes it more enjoyable when your better half has the same passion for riding and seeing the country on two wheels. As I mentioned we do a trip or two every year and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Wow!!!  That's some riding!

Funny thing is when she got her first bike she said she would sometimes still want to ride passenger and she would not ride as much as me.  I put about 24K on a bike a year, she puts more on than me the last four or five years.

It is great having a wife that shares the passion to ride.  We do 3 or more trips a year together and she does one or two with the ladies, I do one with the guys.  One of our trips together is usually between 4~5,000 miles.  We did Sturgis 75th, then took a detour on the way Home to ride Beartooth Pass again, if I'm that close I have to go ride it.

We ride together lots, and she runs the curves harder than most men.  She is use to riding with a few of us that like to run the curves fairly hard here in East TN.

In the Bad Lands on our way to 75th.  Great ride, great friends, great times.

She rides the bright yellow bike.   :bananarock:  Not the Roadglide, the Spyder.

My wife rides a 2012 Fatboy Lo...started two years ago and won't look back. Still complains I took the passenger seat off my Road King. I just tell her it's so no other women are tempted to hop on.
