brass collar on throttle cables

long story short  is the brass collar on the cables at handle bar universal ?  ...or are they model specific
lost one in garage while trying to lubricate  cables ...going to dealership tomorrow  ..hoping they have this in stock

The ferrules have been the same on all models for a very long time.  56508-76 is the part number.

Don't feel bad about losing one btw; you aren't the first to have one fly across the garage.  Once all bikes are throttle by wire, Harley will lose a lot of sales for that little PITA part.

They're cheap in the (I think this is right) 12 packs we at least used to be able to get from the Drag book.  I've dropped them occasionally enough I always just kept spares in the parts drawer.  Saves much saying of bad words  :drink: .

Below is a current eBay listing for a ten pack.  Less than ten dollars including postage and you don't even have to drive to the dealership.

thinking I needed the lube myself for what they charge me for the brass ferrule
