70T Rear Belt Sprocket 2014 FLHRSE?
« on: April 16, 2016, 07:31:07 PM »

Any thoughts on changing the stock 68T rear belt sprocket to a 70T?  Then would I need a longer belt?  Where do you get these parts?

I am looking for a little bit better take offs and it seems like there is way more top-end then we'll ever need.  Did a slow-ass H.O.G. ride today and we never got out of 4th gear.

I am thinking it would help with our current setup's very soft bottom-end and would also be a nice compliment to the built 117ci that will be going in soon.

Thanks In Advance,

The current best trick is to use the 30tooth front sprocket.
If you do a small mod (requires welding) to the swing arm, you can retain the stock belt.
I did it and love it.RPM increases about 10%.
I posted the math on it somewhere here.
Another option is thePrimo Rivera "game changer" comp sprocket. Same gear change and No swing arm or belt mod.
