It's no secret. When you were in the medical profession, you were providing a service. You were giving to the community. You were giving to those in need. Now, in your retirement years, you are looking for some "thing" to fill that void from work. That's just not going to happen. Keep the motorcycle, keep all your toys, and go out and give. Give the most important thing you can, your time and attention. Volunteer. Anywhere. Shelters, schools, facilities, all these places need people, and you need them just as much as they need you. To place fault on an outside "thing", for not satisfying your inside need to be of service is misguided.
