Spray painted some metal cabinets with my airless sprayer and thought I had the bike parked far enough away. The next day, I noticed that the wind drifted a fine mist of overspray on to the bike. I checked the internet for the best possible remedy and there are several approaches. Some are:
1. Clay Brick
2. Easy Off
3. Finger Nail Polish
4. Acetone
5. Paint Thinner
6. Gasoline
In general, from what I read, acetone works the best but it has to be a base coat/clear coat paint job to start. Then be extremely careful, not a lot of elbow grease.
The clay brick also had high regards but seemed to be designed for small areas.
This is the most knowledgeable forum in the world, so I'm sure there are experts that have handled this situation with great success.
Thanks,
Cowboy
