Doubt that came off of your '09 CVO Ultra.  I had an SERG3 and don't recall any hex screws with a flat head groove like in your picture.  Maybe someone will recognize it....

To start, it's a support bolt you can tell buy the larger part of the bolt being the shoulder that would but up to the hole that the shank of the bolt go's threw so it will tighten. Those kind of bolts are used for supporting what ever that needs movement. What it's off  :nixweiss: could be from a lawnmower to a washing machine

Thank you all for your responses....I don't know what it is off of as it was just laying in my driveway, not by the road but up by the garage. It puzzles me, I asked Nissan techs and they don't know and I have put it on a Chevy Silverado forum and have not had many takers there. Going to take it in to some local shops and see what they say. Thanks again, Bill.

Can't tell how big b it is by the picture,  but looks like it would hold a wheel on something.  Lawnmower, stroller, kids toy?

I've never seen a shoulder bolt (or any other bolt btw) with a combination hex and slot head used in production on any kind of vehicle, so if you're worried about something falling off your bike or car, I'm 99% certain you can breathe easy.  And it might help if there was something to indicate scale.  How big is the bolt?  Length, diameter, etc.

Have seen some slotted like that on lawnmower deck wheels.  But even those are old.  It didn't come off the bike; which seems to be what he was worried about.  After that it's all just hazard.

longlast is right as to its usage, how about the front roller for the chain on the overhead garage door.  Have you recently had it replaced or repaired?

I'm going with the "lawn mower" theory.

Could be the garage door wheel in the track too.

Will be something along those lines.

If you have someone doing your yardwork I bet its a shouldered bolt from a lawnmower gauge wheel, fertilizer spreader , something like that.

I believe it is the idler wheel axle bolt to a large (hot and with an advanced AI) Amazonian robot's vibrator.  Why the original poster would have such a robot is the really interesting thing here.
