This is why I like buying previously owned CVO's. Those bikes are "mostly complete" with all the stuff I was gonna do anyway. Once folks get "Content" they sell it and buy a new one to mess with.

I'm content with mine and I only have 1250 miles on it. That doesn't mean I'll never do anything else to it but I don't have a wish list and that's the first time I can say that in all my almost 50 years of riding. I've done what I wanted to right up front and am cool  8) with the way it sits.

Almost... headers, tuner, dyno is next. Other than that I have a small wish list of chrome stuff.

After many decades of dumping bucket loads of money into my bikes, this is the first bike that I'm content with.  This bike already had the HD Touring Pullback handlebars and cupholders.  I had Steve add the DX header and the 1.75 Fullsac baffles and I added the Escort Passport Max radar detector (NOTE:  I've not gotten a speeding ticket in the 2 1/2 yrs. I've owned it) from my truck.

I'm content!  :bananarock:

I'm fairly content in the aftermath of the mods I've done, but there's always room for improvement... I like my CUSE8.

I was totally content with my CVO Roadie in 2009 in stock form.

Then I had to add Headers, pipe, TTS and was content.

Then I had to add C&C Solo & Sport Touring saddle and I was content.

Then I had to add new speakers and was content.

Then I had to add new wind screen and was content.

Then I had to add Ohlin shocks and was content.

Then I had to add Tourpak and was content.

Then I had to add new handlebars and was content.

Finally, I had to upgrade to the SE 117" Bolt on and now I'm content.

I'm sure I left out much more mods, but really I am content!!!

Cosmetically, I'm 100% content. Sometimes less is more, and I don't want a bunch of gaudy accessories hanging off of it.

As far as the motor, I am happy with it especially after the headers/exhaust/tune. However I do want to replace some of the parts that are known to not be super dependable and squeeze out more "umph" since I ride alone and a little aggressive most of the time. I'm going to a 113 build and not skimping on anything. I justify it this way: I am going to keep the bike until it's dead. I have no desire to buy another bike, so why not invest in reinforcing this one and making it run EXACTLY how I want? Some people give me a hard time about it, but those same people have a different bike every season or two trying to find something they are 100% happy with. The 2013 RK gave me a really good base. Now I am making my tweaks here and there to make it the perfect bike to me. I know after the 113 build I will truly be done.

Brad with your collection of bikes it is time to work on the next one....  :2vrolijk_21:

I understand the original post, I don't want to undue what I've done for the sake of change. So with that said I've started collecting parts for my next build. I don't have an exact plan just yet, it's more of a rough draft. It is tough as we like what we like and while choosing body parts for the next bike I kept picking what I have on my current bike. I am trying not to do that though.......

Content? Yes I am with my 13 CVO. Ok I will probably $hit can the hydraulic clutch as I just don't like it.
