It is sad to hear you are having issues with this bike.
My last 6 bikes have been H- D' s  and the only 1 that gave me problems was the
2012 CVO Street Glide,  dealer bought it back. But it was my / our favorite. I'll be sure
to not say anything like that while in the proximity of the current bike.
Did the Indy wright up anything for you to show your dealer?

Basically after he finished laughing in disbelief that one bike makes so many noises he recommended to have the transmission looked at first because he said it might be causing all of the noise in the primary drive and compensator and possibly some of the vibration that is still in the bike.

I'm going to call the dealer again tomorrow and see if they will book the bike in to take a look at the trans to try and eliminate at least one or two of the noises.

I was suppose to leave on a trip to New Orleans and on to California on Friday but there is no way I can take this bike. I don't want it to blow up at 75 mph and have the bike lock up the rear tire with the wife and I on it.

Hi Guys its been a while but I thought I would bring you up to speed on my 2015 CVO road glide that had all the engine and trans noise.
I finally got fed up and took the bike back to the dealer and told them to keep it until they fix it.
It sat there for a week and they never touched it. They said all the noises were normal and they would drive the bike to California no problem! (That's were I had planned to go but did not trust the bike because of all the noise coming from the engine trans and primary as well as the engine knock that was getting louder the longer I drove it).

But here's the kicker. They said the trans noise was definitely louder than normal but Harley would not pay to fix it! Then they presented me with an estimate of $1500 to fix the transmission with 6000 kilometers on it about 4000 miles.
I was pissed! Called the Harley Canada service rep and he told me they would not pay for it under warranty but if I wasn't happy with the noise I could pay the $1500 and have it repaired WTF!

I told the dealer I was coming to pick up my bike and would go to the dealer in Montreal to see what they had to say about it.

This is when it gets good. A tech outside listened to the bike and said wow that's a hell of a noise and he was only referring to the trans noise not the engine noise
and that they should have time to look at it today. I talked to the service adviser and he wanted me to bring the bike back the next week so he could have someone else listen to it.
That sounded a little strange so I went in to see the manager who is a great guy which I had bought my 2014 Limited off of and told him of the whole sh...t show I had been dealing with on this bike.

He said I have another 2016 CVO on the floor and he would make me a hell of a deal to get me back as a customer and out from under the 2015 POS.

So I drank the company kool aid again and traded for the 16 so far so good no problems with it.

But since then I have found out that the Harley Canada service rep had been calling the dealers that I was bringing my bike too for a second opinion and telling them to tell me the same thing as the last dealer did that it was normal.

I have since contacted a lawyer and the Canadian Consumer protection agency. Not sure if this behaviour is happening elsewhere but it is something that needs to be looked into.

Can anyone tell me who to contact at Harley Head office to discuss this reps behaviour and actions. He should be fired ASAP.
