Inner Primary Service

2014 FLHTK, Replacing the outer primary cover with updated narrow cover.. The bike only has 3600 mi. on it but since the cover will be off, is there anything I should have the tech inspect...Particularly the Compensator torque?

Have the Tech give the Primary a good once over, make sure the Auto Chain Adjuster is operating properly and the Chain is within spec, checked Cold.

Use the factory recommended amount of HD Formula+

Did the narrow cover help? Please elaborate. Under tall guy asking. I sat on a new Limited Low and if that had been available when I bought my 07 I would have bought one. The fit for me was outstanding, flat footed and perfect fit for me. I'm still gun shy about trading because I'm tired of having to rebuild a new bike to make up for quality control. I agree there has been many improvements made but the chance of getting one of the few Long straws is slim IMHO.

I'm 5'7" with a 30" inseam...when at a stop, the OE primary would hit me in the back of my calf.. With the narrow cover, problem solved but more importantly when backing the bike up, easy breezy  :2vrolijk_21:
