I am in exactly the same spot as you 2015 CVO SG, added Rhinehart 4" and wanting to dump the stock Cats.

Really interested in hearing your results.  I live in Germany and their are very few Tuners around and even fewer that have seen a TTS, HD Dealers do SERT, The Indy that tuned my last bike uses Power Commander.

Really want to go with a DX and TTS for my CG, and I am sure (after reading everything on here) that if I talked to Steve the canned map would be in the 85-95% area.  But it still needs to be dyno'd as each bike is a bit different.

Probably going to have to wait till I move back to the States and make the road trip from Colo Springs CO. down to Fullsac.

I need to update what I had previously stated about this setup. Last week I met with Schrader and he reloaded the map that Fulsac had sent to me. I thought I had loaded it previously, from what I could tell the download had worked but made no difference in the bikes heat or mileage.

Schrader obtained an updated download from Fulsac and installed it for me when I was in West Virginia last week. It was cool and rained ALOT while we were there so I could not really notice any difference. But Saturday afternoon and Sunday on our way home we finally hit some blue skies and warmer temps (85). I noticed a remarkable difference in the heat on my right leg for the better!! And my gas mileage running 85 fully loaded down the slab jumped from around 33-34 to 38-39. Not sure what I did wrong 2 years ago but what Schrader did made a marked and noticeable improvement! Thank you Schrader!!

Yeah I suspect anyone who doesn't notice a difference needs to dial in their tune.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this or not but here goes...

I have the fulsac setup on my 13 CVO ultra, I am pondering a 16 CVO Limited. I know the X pipe will work and am pretty certain the slip on mufflers with the baffles will work on the 16 but will the TTS tuner and the map that I have work on the 16? Or will I need to purchase another TTS tuner and map?

Also if I were to just change out the X pipe on the 16 and leave the stock mufflers am I hurting anything by then doing the tune? I am sure the power will be less with the stock mufflers but I am getting old and starting to like the quiet more.

The Mufflers and Pipe can both be used with the 16. Since the TTS you have is married with the ECM on your 13 you would need to either purchase another TTS entirely or a second permit, lease, or whatever it is called for your current TTS Dongle.

There is also a difference with regard to the actual maps since in 2014 Harley upgraded things, but the maps are readily available from Fullsac. And I believe you would have to get an updated cable for use on the 14 up Canbus system.

I am sure that Steve may chime in to correct anything that I may have misrepresented or gotten wrong.

Thank you for the information! Regarding the stock mufflers with the X pipe and a tune. Would that be ok?

The stock mufflers will kill the bottom end. I would suggest 1.75 baffles with Techmat sleeves.
This will give great bottom end with a slightly louder exhaust note at cruise. When hard on the throttle
it will have some bark.

Well I finally got to install the new DX pipes yesterday. All in all not a bad job. Don't laugh at me, but it took about six hours from end to end.  I also took some time and cleaned up the rear tire, other hard to reach areas and tried to clean where the seat rubs on the tank (any ideas about that?) I did notice I need new rear brake pads. I still hear that d..n ticking up front but that has nothing to do with the pipes. I am running the DX pipes first without the TTS tune and then will re-map the ECM so I can see what difference each does (I have never done this before so this will be new to me). The sound is different and I will see if there is any temp change this afternoon when I head home. I hope to get to the mapping very soon so I can see the full impact of these changes.

Ron

Thanks for the report but, riding with out the cat and with out a tune is highly not recommended!
That whole running lean hi heat thing was just taken to the next level with out the required fuel map.

Looking forward to your next follow up with the tune!

Ron, I can attest to the high heat and lean condition without the map. I rode for 2 years with what I thought was the full kit, Xpipe, baffles a the tune. I hated it, I swear it got hotter and my gas mileage went down. Turns out though that somewhere along the line I messed up and did not get the map installed. About a month ago I installed the map again and this time the person doing it knew what he was doing and WOW there is a remarkable difference.

My advice, DO NOT RIDE WITHOUT THE MAP! You wont like it but you will like it with the map!

I am trying to get to the map tonight.

I have read the TTS manual (most of which is way more than I know how to use [shade tree mechanic here] and still don't see how to get the Map supplied by Fullsac to load. I am hoping when I actually up it up it will ask to import a file for the map.
I do know I need to make the backup first.
