Hi Lew,
I hate that I missed the MITM. I'm in the middle of building a shop and the concrete guys decided they needed to get started the week of the GTG. I felt like I had to be home to make sure they put the slab where I wanted it.
I did buy the kit from Native Custom Baggers and I went with their "Lincoln" fender and hidden axle lowers. Got the wheels from a company in Hendersonville, TN, just north of Nashville, called FTD customs
http://www.ftdcustoms.com . I attached a picture of the front wheel. I put a matching back wheel on but you can hardly see it with the bags on. Figured since I'm changing from the chrome Agitators to contrast cut wheels the difference would be way too noticeable. Both companies were very helpful and easy to deal with. I'm supposed to get the fender back from paint this Wednesday. While I had the bike apart, I switched to Legends shocks and cartridges, and added the Yelvington reverse pulley too. As soon as I get the front fender and wheel installed I'll post a couple of pictures.
As far as costs go I think this is pretty close.
Native Custom - $1,600 - fat tire kit
FTD Custom - $3,000 - wheels, front rotors, tires
Fender painted to match - $1,000 with shipping and insurance
plus these "accessories"
Legend Suspension - $1,700
Yelvington Reverse - $1,845
Let me know if you have other questions.
