Topic: Cats in head pipe?? (Read 1070 times)

Just picked up a 2015 CVO Deluxe for my wife. Getting ready for exhaust. Want to just do slip ons and a tuner. Heres the question, I keep getting different answers. Are there Cats. in the head pipes or are they in the mufflers? If they are in the headers I will be changing that too I guess. Need to cool the beast down.

If the bike is stock the muffler is 65872-09?
I believe the cats are in the mufflers, easy to check if you pull one off and look in the inlet.

The catalytic converters are definitely in the mufflers, not the headpipes, on Softail models.
