Drago's Dragula 2 chirping sound when you rev the engine.

Picked up a Dragula 2 pipe and installed it tonight, when you rev the engine, on decel it makes kind of a chirping type noise. Does anybody that has the Dragula have the same sound? It's pretty obvious, If yours does it you should know what I'm talking about. Anybody?

It sounds like something in the exhaust, I would say in the muffler.

That's exactly what happens when a heat shield is touching something like a floorboard. As the engine passes through a certain RPM and vibrates a little more than usual, the shield makes contact.  Put a shop rag between the heat shield and the frame/floorboard, etc where they are close together.  Test for the sound, and keep moving the rag until you find sweet silence.

From what I am being told, the Dragula 2 exhaust makes that noise when you first let off the throttle. It is just one chirp kind of sound as you let off. I haven't ridden the bike yet, just finished installing the exhaust last night.

You can always call us if you have questions. The new baffle design  is a anti reversion baffle so it slows the air from rushing back in. It helps put the break on the reversion. and cools the collector down to under 350 degrees on the 2:1
