Going to slip in a set of SE 585's & Fullsac DX pipe
« on: September 21, 2016, 06:11:13 PM »

Just ordered a Fullsac  DX pipe . Already have a set of cans with 1.75 baffles installed   Since I already have the pipe off.  .very easy to slip a set of cams in ..why not. Bike has about 600 miles on it . Looking for it pull a little farther out and still keep most of the low end. Got a sweetheart deal on the cams.. Why Not!   Will be doing a 117 build this winter, but until then . Hoping we'll get close to 100 HP.

Just gotta play a little, think that's a disease here!!...

*You have the muffler screens installed too?

*With the 585 she's gonna be a little soggy on the bottom end compared to the 255, she likes the squish @ 10.5:1 to shine...

& yes, it's hard to leave well enough alone with these bikes!  :2vrolijk_21:

I've got a set of '09 cans that have the good screens already, just change  tip, Figured i 'd I've up some on the bottom, that's why  I'm not to concerned  putting the 2.0 in.  Yep I agree about the squish & 10.5 , just gonna play now and when he 117 build happens , we'll shave the heads, try to get 89 cc heads . Don't think I'll be able shave enough meat off to do that. Thinking .007 per 1 cc reduction in chambers and with a wet heads think I can only go .020 . That will get me 92 cc and I'll end up with 10.5  with .030 gasket and piston .005 down in the hole.

Will post up numbers on the 110/585  "stock" build...stay tuned
