I know this is a common complaint but I have never had a problem with viewing any display on my 2015. I just took a 2500 mile trip in nothing but bright sunlight with no problems.
Sure hope this calibration update cures our problems on the '17 FLHTKSE.   :2vrolijk_21:

Received a notice from HD today stating there is an issue with some bikes having an incorrect calibration setting for the odometer LCD display and speedometer backlighting, that will require a software update..  And just 4 days ago my dealer said it was working like it was supposed to and they never heard of any issues.

Bikes effected are 2017 FLHTKSE and FHLXSE

Had mine updated today.  Dropped by dealer to make an appointment. They just did it right then and there. Takes just a couple minutes to do. I can now read my odometer display as it should, nice and clear and bright!

Fantastic.  Makes you wonder how they ever let them get out like that.  It's so obvious I simply don't understand how no one could have noticed it.   :nixweiss:

I had my 2017 done. Much easier to read now.
