Jerry, I don't know why I keep buying these, except as it was posted, they look good and feel good--and I've been riding Harleys since 1960.
Yes, the bike is still under factory warranty for another couple months so I will stay on it to try to get it fixed. I called Harley Factory Customer Service yesterday, told them to check my file--2000 CVO Road Glide, 4 engines, 2011 CVO Road Glide, complete bike replaced after 3 months of them trying to repair problems, now the 2015 CVO Road Glide with failed engine and problems with replacement engine. I let them know that for $45,000, they should produce a bike that would last a while. On the older Harleys, I would put over 100K miles with no problems. And I didn't take it to my local Dealer, they couldn't look at it for 3-4 weeks. I drove 3 1/2 hours to a dealer that I know the tech and have much respect for him. As of now, I'm waiting for a response from the Dealer as to the actual problem and from Harley Factory to see what they are going to do about it. With as much clattering noise it's making, I'm thinking it's more than a lifter. I'm without my bike again, I can say that the Albuquerque Dealership did try their best to get the bike together and get me home. I'll let you know where it ends up.
