To many gas stations regardless of where you are, even the desert etc. just plan ahead a little.

Agreed. These bikes nowadays don't have peanut tanks. Longest stretch of nothing we've ever done was 6 southwest of out Ely and that was around 170 miles with no gas. I think that is probably one of the biggest stretches in the lower 48 that still has nothing on it. And even that, with these big tanks we run now, nobody was sweating not making it.

But yeah bikes running smaller tanks, there are still places they can get stranded.
