Right side with the new axle...

Now you need the chrome bolts for the disks. (and the chrome fork drain screw if you don't have it).

Last Sunday,
Little trip with the HOG.
220 miles, 30°F, cool and nice roads !  :2vrolijk_21:

The second leak is arrived !

Perfect, it'll be repaired in same time than the painting of my frame !
Remember you, my frame had rust on the weld under the seat near the tank.
Today, I've put a date on the agenda of my dealer for december.
Stop again for one or two months !

I'll have enough the time for the beers !
Please, Santa ! gives me a good engine !

They have already started to put the salt on our roads, Jacques, so my riding season is over (even though the weather is still mild - I suspect they were paid overtime to go out salting the roads!). Touch wood, my replacement engine is fine so far, but of course, like everyone else, I'm just waiting for the head gasket leak....  But it will be next year before that happens.  I'm planning a long trip (including France!) next June - http://www.europeanposseride.com - so I'm hoping it will be fine for that.

I hope Santa grants your wish!  :drink:

Very nice ride for the next year !
I hope the best for you.

How many miles with your new engine ?

Today, I've discussion with my dealer.
He's very angry because he had no support from the MOCO or HD France.
He think to look another way (Outside the official instructions) for repair the 110ci.
He does not accept the situation for him and for his customers.

Do you know what parts are different between the SE 110 kit and our engine ?

Hi Jacques.

Very nice ride for the next year !
I hope the best for you.

2755 = 4444km

Today, I've discussion with my dealer.

I'm not surprised that he has had no support from the MoCo, but since HDUK's man was very good with me, I'd have though HD France might have been more help...

He think to look another way (Outside the official instructions) for repair the 110ci.

If it works, let us all know as soon as you can! My friend's bike (same colour as yours) has had three repairs now, last time new barrel and head. So far, no leaks...

He does not accept the situation for him and for his customers.

That's good - excellent in fact. He is plainly better than the average dealer!

Do you know what parts are different between the SE 110 kit and our engine ?

I don't think there are any, but I don't know for sure.

Jim,

I asked this question : Do you know what parts are different between the SE 110 kit and our engine ?

because, my dealer said me that he had no problems with the SE 110 kit that he had mounted on stock bikes.

Jacques

Interesting!  I can see where your dealer is going with this.... fit the 110 SE kit to your bike, to see if it solves the problem.  I guess your dealer has had more problems, not just yours, with the 110s he has sold?

Yes !  He sold 8 CVO 110 ci and only one had not problems but also not many miles.

Concerning the 7 bikes, he changed only one engine.

I guess next year, when all of us who have just a six month riding season start to get miles on these bikes is when we'll see the problems rise....

I've opened an new thread about the difference betwen SE 110ci kit and our bike.

Perhaps, somebody knows the answer.

Sounds like you guys are going through some deep pain with your "babies". The only issue I have had so far is some puking through the Doherty Powerpacc A/C (even after installation of the mystfree). Nearly 4,000 miles now - still can't get it out of my head that the little MoCo demons will be tugging at my 110 cubes before long though !!

Nige

Here's a pic to remind us why we put up with it.
