Fullsac Power Cores Sound Level

I was wondering if anyone can help me with my sound choice for the CVO power cores from Fullsac.  I am presently running the 1.75s in my 110 and want a little more sound but not sure whether to go with 2 inch or 2.25.  Any help will be appreciated.

I have the 2 inch and they are perfect for me. I can cruise easy and be quiet but if I wind it out a little it has a great rumble. From what I remember Steve said any bigger and power starts to suffer also.

Are you running stock header with cat still in it? How bout Turner?


IF, your running stock, start with "D" X-Pipe, and TTS from Steve first.

No not stock, got the TTS tuner and no cat head pipe. Getting ready to install a fuel moto x pipe and see how or if the sound changes.  I want more sound but not a lot so think I'm gonna try 2 inch baffles.

I had the Fuel Moto head pipe with the 2 1/4 Fullsacs and they weren't that loud IMO. definitely had a bark when on them but very quit at idle and cruising. Actually for me to quiet as I put on CFR's so obviously I like loud so keep that in mind..

I run the DX pipe along with the 2" baffles from Fullsac and love them. If you go larger than 2" on a stock 110" motor you are usually trading power for a louder sound. These engines need back some pressure to operate at peak performance. There is plenty of data on this site that supports this.

I had the 2" . Perfect sound for me. Steve will even say the 2" were the best choice. I'd go with those again.  Stuart.

I had the 2" on the 110, went to a 113 with more compression and the 2 1/4", the 2 1/4 sound a whole lot better than the 2" ever did.  Not much louder, but definitely better in my opinion.

I like the 1.75s but im fat and old and id rather listen to music than the pipes. I am putting the 2" in my new build so we will see!

I'm torn with my 1.75s also, deep sound and I can hear the radio, but a little louder is better, maybe! LOL

At this stage of stage in life. I went with vh power cell and stock cvo mufflers. I don't want to hear the exhaust anymore.  Just good tunes. Stuart.  :nixweiss: . With the fp3 I am very happy with it.
