Fantastic there TLR.  Super - Super looking.  You guys just keep on spending those hard earned dollars and sharing here. Looks like I won't be able to ever retire, cause you keep showing me the things I really want to have that I did not even know existed.  Got to love having such good friends.  You know I am partial to the flames, and these legs look real good.   :huepfenjump3:  Also glad to hear I'm not the only one that has bugs on my bike.  I have to take my pretty red bike into the independant dealer tonight - need to change the oil and get another new rear tire.  I just can't figure this out!  I am checking my air pressure every time we ride and making sure that it is always right, but I don't get anywhere near the mileage that even Jamey does, and we pretty much always ride together.  I am sitting shy of 30,000 miles.  By digging up this old thread of mine, I see this last tire I only got less than 5,000 miles.  Something is not adding up.

5k repetitively is something I'd at least try to find a reason for Candy.  Is it wearing straight down the center of the tire?  With the exception of road hazard replacement I've seen 10+k miles each time on the red bike.

You're just a Slut, Don..a real bastard...

They rook mahvelous....

I agree with your statement TC :huepfenlol2:

Don, You keep pushing the outer limits of the envelope it's hard for any of us to keep up.

I just stumbled on this thread. I haven't visited the seeg garage for awhile....

The engraving & colour look very very sharp. They must look incredible next to your powder coated cylinders!

Congrat's on your new investment!
Great idea and job well done :beerchug:

The only thing that concerns me is how the clear cloat will hold up against the peppering of sandy road debris :confused5:
Have you given it any thought on maybe using the 3M protective film on the leading edge for a little extra protection?

Here's a two big thumbs up  :2vrolijk_21: :cool26: :2vrolijk_21:

Take care,

 :zroflmao:

Yep! That's it Candy. That's the only logical explanation.

Time to chain down your scoot & keep the key away from Jamey :huepfenlol2:

Mark, I've wondered about that too.  I've got a full kit here of that 3M protective film.  Includes pieces to almost shrink wrap the bike.  But the only divots I've ever picked up have been on the fairing and one tiny one on the leading edge of the fender.  So whenever I finally get the stuff installed those are the only pieces I'm really concerned about installed.

That being so I've thought about cutting down the pieces that are made for the front of the saddlebags and using them on the legs.  The trip back from the Atlanta area fortunately left not a mark on the legs.  But even with the various detours that was only 1200 miles or so.  It's still something to at least think about though.

It's gonna happen.  My front fender has survived remarkably unscathed.  My fairing looked almost lunar though.  Lots of craters and other impact points.  Some had even been multiple impact points.  It's bad when your touch ups need touch up.  That's why I finally broke down and got a new one this spring.  It'll get the 3M film on it so hopefully will survive better.  Perhaps a winter project will be taking the old one and getting it professionally repaired along with adding a bit of art to the big empty area in the middle.  We'll see.....  :nixweiss:

A little closer in to get a better view of the eagle.  They look a bit better in person than in the photos.  The Adjure flush mount axle really helps finish off the package too.

WOW! is there no end?

I would really like to see that thing in person some day. You should get the trophy for OCD, and then some help. Maybe there's a 12 step program?  :huepfenlol2:

Sounds like that old Johnny Cash song about the Cadillac.  It doesn't sound as weird when you say it's only got two retrofit modifications though.  The 06 radio and the 07's saddlebag locks.
