So...........I gotta ask,  who is the (pool boy)

I have absolutely no idea.  Therefore......  Pool Boy cleaned somebody's pool who had a Harley and they knew a guy who lived near a neighbor who used to live near Willie G. but not anymore.  Maybe was more removed from HD than that, forget the original deal, Twolane probably knows.  The greatest source of information in the history of this board as to new Harley models, pool boy disappeared a few years ago & then reappeared.  Like an Immaculate Reincarnation, only different.  A source of great knowledge, and is as reliable as a lot of the stuff we read on the internet, which is true because after all, we read it on the internet.

The truck is still in Maggie Valley with a dead engine. I am supposed to go up there next week on Thursday to haul it back home. Looks like I am going to replace the engine as it is basically a solid truck and has a lot more miles still to go. I really don't want to buy a new one and a used one would be a crap shoot. I have been riding a lot more due to the broken truck. I do use the wife's SUV on Wednesdays.

It is a long story. And be forewarned it involves me in a speedo. Okay you've been warned.

A long time ago in a thread far far away there were an Untold number of annoying conversations about what will next year's bikes be. Next year then being like 2006 or or 2007. All kinds of people knew someone who knew someone who potentially knew someone who had a friend at the dealer or whose brother at one time might have worked at the Moco on a Tuesday night. Basically it was all made up b*******from people who wanted to feel like they could play along and sound important but didn't actually know a damn thing. Then, IT happened.

It was an epiphany, a bolt from the blue, the Aurora Borealis of inside sources, the Gal Gadot of superwomen whispering in your ear telling us what was really going to happen. It was freaking amazing. It was, the Pool Boy.

To supplant and or replace all the anonymous but made up BS that dribbled and driveled into the stupid threads every year we were blessed by the travel Gods on high with the Advent of the pool boy. Very specifically starting to share information in our threads was Willie G's brothers nephews cousins Aunt's mistresses Chinese Laundry men's third cousin twice removed pool boy. He knew it all being that far on the inside. And he shared. Finally no more waiting for rumor, no more waiting for carb reports, no more waiting for all of the asinine stories from some made-up guy at a dealership, we actually had an inside source here on our little website.

This went on for years. The pool boy was our man on the inside for long time. Then he just stopped. The rumor was that Harley had whacked him. Slowly and painfully. And it was probably true. But then there was the resurrection. About a year and a half or so ago all the sudden slowly, minimally, but with certainty, the pool boy was back. Our source to the inside scoop was feeding us again. He doesn't say as much as he used to. That probably happens when your tongue hasn't grown back yet. But that only makes what he shares more precious.

Oh I forgot the part where the speedo is in the story.  When I made the clandestine overnight 16 hour moonless night ride that was an iron butt without documentation to actually meet the pool boy I went to a specific coordinates at the deep end of the pool and wore a speedo as I was assigned to do. So he'd know I was me. It wasn't a pretty sight. But I did it for the site. Just so we'd have a source. We all have to make sacrifices and that was mine.

Oh yeah, the pool boy wore a Willie G mask. So I never actually saw his face.  But he confirmed his identity by selling me a t-shirt for $116.

Ha.  He only charged me $115.95 for mine, but it was a cut tag second.

Pool boy called & said that the 2018s will be the most extensively troubleshot, tested, & researched  HDs ever to hit the market.  By their owners, after they buy them.

The Pool Boy is similar to Carnac The Magnificent, he knows all and sees all. However, he doesn't always tell all. Once you have been introduced to him and he takes you into his inner circle, he will keep you in the loop on what Harley ( The Mother Ship ) is planning and up to. There is no rhyme or reason on who he picks to be in his inner circle. I was told to post this message by The Pool Boy.
