Exhaust
« on: June 20, 2017, 04:18:29 PM »

So I went to the Harley shop to talk to them about after market exhaust.  I was told on my 2017 CVO pro street breakout has the screaming eagle exhaust but to me it looks like the normal one.  I was wondering is that the case or no.

Thank you for the input.

the exhaust may look similar, but it is a different part number so there is some difference.  the cvo part number is 64900404, while the standard breakout has a part number of 64900170.

I would suggest getting with steve at fullsac.  see if he has a replacement baffle for the breakout exhaust like for the touring bikes.  look stock, sound and perform way better  :2vrolijk_21:

The part numbers won't match because the CVO has a different finish, I forget exactly what they call it but it's supposed to be similar to the black stainless color you see on appliances these days.

The actual mufflers on the Breakout, color aside, are just like the other Breakout mufflers.  They come equipped with catalytic converters in the inlet end of the muffler and are the same size.  Hard to say if they flow any better than the ones on a standard Breakout, but if they do it wouldn't be by much.

Thank you all for your input. I contacted Steve via email and they currently do not do the PAC for my bike as of yet.  I am leaning towards the D&D exhaust now but I also like the Royaltracing one out as well.

The CVO Pro Street uses a longer muffler than the stock breakout pipes.  You can see it by looking at H-D's bikes pages.  If you're looking for exhausts, I have a black Bassani roadrage short pipe that I took off my bike.

How much you thinking for it.
