How correct you are. You can travel all the way from Calgary down through British Columbia all the way down throught Colorado to California/Mexico all on gravel/dirt roads.

Their was an article a few years back, forgot the Bike Magazine it was in, about rides in North America on gravel/dirt roads.

Yes, this is true!  One can go north/south all on dirt, and I've heard there are routes east/west where one can go from the eastern U.S. to the Pacific ocean on the same.

BTW, ride with an 1150GS ADV friend who has the same great color combination you have.  He can fly on the thing and together we often embarass sportbike riders unsuspecting of the sporting prowess these gargantuan things possess.  They are a blast in the curves.
