This is the Cycle Visions Road Rod , HD should make something similar with at least the v-rod 1250 kit on it .
I like the look, and believe this is what we are going to see in the future (watercolored/touring). However as others have mentioned they are going to have to do something w/the frame (rider setup) to sell to the masses. I have ridden a V-Rod and thought it was an exceptional riding bike, but for me being over six feet I couldn't see putting in extended miles/hours on it. :(

I'm only 5' 8"    and thought the bike was quick and responsive,,,,,,, but I have a bad back and found it to be very uncomfortable.  after only 15 min. of ride time, my back hurt.

No fun for anyone with a back issue.  Much like sport bikes.

You do have the color right. ;) ;D Seriously though I'm done on getting bikes for now. My priority is getting kid finished college and then she can buy me my next bike. :2vrolijk_21:

Word from Tomahawk is that they may be doing something with the Heritage Softail Classic.

Interesting.....

Funny, no one really suggested it but it makes perfect sense.  A popular model for many years. :idea2:

Rumor has it that the touring bike is highly likely gonna be a Road Glide. I hope they do as they have done in the past and offer an Ultra.....

UP, I have for years had an issue with the Heritage Classis.  They make this great looking bike that looks as if it should go for many many miles with relative ease.  But it's a bar hopping cruiser in semi-touring skin.

That is true of all the softails to me.  I prefer the touring type frame with the twin shocks.

But it is a great looking townie... :coolblue:

Yeah, sorry.  The "rumor" thing every year does bring out my Spiderman said sometimes.  There are so many.  None are ever more correct than an average interested guess might be.  But everyone knows someone who has an in.  Sure they do.

Last year my (cited) source was the the nephew of the lady's pool man who cleaned the Willy G's round the block neighbor's hot tub and he'd told his brother who was related to my cousin (twice removed) about (once again) the Screamin' Eagle Servicar.  The cousin (twice removed) was wrong (again) last year.  But this year he's saying the same thing.  So I'm sure it was just on the drawing board again last year for final release soon.  It's going to be sweet.

If they don't make an Ultra, mine will hold on to a little more value for a little more time. With the proliferation of Baggers though, It would be a good bet that the Ultra CVO will be around for awhile...especially with the profit they make on em'
