Heard they might consider some 70's models for a nostalgia series.  Each comes with an oil drip pan painted to match each bike, to catch the oil that drips from each bike.  Memories.......  :-\

STOP!!! my side is hurtin from laughin'

No way.  HD making a real effort to meet on QC scale with the competition.  That's not even credible as a rumor. :huepfenlol2:

SIR: no way is that a rumor - I'm have never been a rumor monger and never will.

Glad I was able to strike some nerves (or does lead lead to post padding?) Maybe if HD R&D keeps it up they just might come up with a goldwing or a BMW something you could ride and not complain about :)

I love both of my bikes. I'm like that old cowboy song " seldom is heard a disparaging word and the skies are not cloudy all day "  I think it's karma, you get what you deserve in this life for the way you lived before. All these folks with bad paint and motor problems were Wingdingers in the past. Their Harley's know this like a dog can smell cancer.

:huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: Thanks Brian......that was a good laugh.  Not that I might believe a word of it, but damn funny, just the same.

Although if I was on the other side (bad paint......peeling chrome that they'll not take care of, etc.) I might not think so. :nixweiss:

I think in the not to distant future all the big inch baggers will be water cooled. The V-Rod engine might be able to be redone to get the torque curve a little to the left. Look at what happened to all the air cooled auto engines in the past to make my point. I don't know why it hasn't happened yet. They would have gotten my order, but instead I bought a low mile 95 inch to play it safe.

The Moco did at least a proposal on a 2000 and 2400 water cooled engine for EPA , I suspect they has at least 1 prototype.  "Build it and the will come"

Did you have a chance to check cyclevision.com Road Rod ?  Yahoo has gets to this site best. Looks like a well engineered piece. Out here you can get a used rod for not much $$ and convert it. Even has a tourpack. It will be great if it comes from the factory though.

Really, that sincerely surprises me.  Are these just to add to the stable for fun, or are you going to loose a couple of HDs?  Nancy has been saying for two years that her next bike, will be a bagger of some kind.   :cherry:

Candy

Decisions, decisions, decisions
First off, we have no clue as to whats really coming in 08 but losing the anniversary bikes is not an option.
Second, we both like the Street Glide platform but colors always play a big part.
And thirdly, I check every day, two or three sites that list bikes for sale for an 03 silver and black ultra or classic.
So really I haven't a clue as to what we will do.
But whatever it is will include a bagger for Nancy.
Kinda leaning toward two new Vespa's (250GTS) one in silver and one in black. Those two red scooters we have conflict in the garage color scheme.

Time will tell :nixweiss:

Nah, I don't believe it for a minute.  I know those two scooters just add a cherry glow to the garage.  And you guys have so much fun on them.   :cherry:
