Radio screen

I got some spray wax on my radio screen. 2017 CVO Limited. I can't get it off. Any suggestions?

First would try hot water on a microfiber towel.  Do you have the screen saver sheet on it?

Unless you took the screen protector off, it should have protected it.  If it is the bare screen without the protector, be very careful what you use to try to clean it, as it may set or permanently etch the surface.

It's the protector. Harley wants $64 for a new one. I get the for my tablet for $5. I wonder if I could cut one to fit.

What BG said.  Would search for a larger protector, then cut it to fit.  $64 is stupid.

Bike is 2017.  Check warranty replacement?

I've read on other forums where people have used a non-glare iPad screen protector cut to size.  There should be no issue with touch sensitivity.  Let us know how it performs!

G'day Muddy paws, I use a Nutech protector which works just fine & cuts the glare a bit. It didn't cost much certainly not $64

Learned back when GM started putting black rubber mouldings on there stuff to spray wax on rag away from the vehicle not on the vehicle. If you spray it directly on vehicle it just goes everywhere, definitely do not want it on seat, grips, tires etc.

Glad there taking care of it for you at no charge, but at $64.00, sounds like they need a protector for the protector!
