Thank you all for the congrats.

I'm starting to picture a direction for this bike in my head. I'll be dialing it back a little from my 13.

The very first part I ordered was a simple set of OEM switch covers in black. Yes the bike comes with them however I'll be painting this set. Looking at the bars it is all black so it needs something to break it all up. I have some other pieces that will be getting body color and a few that will be getting the rocker box color. I have something subtle in mind for the stock bags until I change them for something deeper. I've narrowed the wheel size down to two. I need to do some more research before I make a final decision. The radio will stay, amp and speakers will all go.

the one thing I've noticed that no one has remarked on,  "I started my day today with a 14 mile run..." 

if I've got to go 14 miles, I have a truck or a bike for that....   

[though I do have to admit, while in the army I hated running.  but now that i'm retired (and broken), I wouldn't mind a little jog now and then.  unfortunately, not happening]

I turn 50 in December and would like to run a 50k Ultra for my 50th. So I'm logging miles to see how my legs and knees will hold up. 16 miles on the schedule for this Saturday. I'm camping Saturday so I may not go that far. Possibly a couple of 10 milers back to back days... I'm going to try and do this Ultra...

Can't wait to see how this turns out...eyeing the same gray Road Glide myself, just haven't decided to pull the trigger yet (but very tempted).

Going to my local Dealer, who I have bought my wife and my last 13 bikes from today.  He is also MSRP.  They Gunship grey CVO RG come in this morning.  I'm first on list.  Have to see it before I commit.  I really like the black earth and vidid black.

Wow Dave...I didn't know the dealerships sold wives!  You'd think if you bought a wife, and 13 bikes, they'd at least give you a little off MSRP!

Very nice.  Congratulations.  I'm trying hard to decide if that is the one I want or the Gunship Gray.  It's tough to decide when you can't see them both before you have to decide.  Saw the Gunship yesterday and will again this morning

Don't know about "them" being MSRP, however seems you never "pay" them off.... they cost you from now... until. .... oh wait... so do H-D's.

That is an awesome color combo and would be my first choice, I heard somewhere that there is a green hue to the Black Earth on that bike. Is there and is it noticeable??
