Meanwhile down the road in Brocket, Alberta, we find another church from another time.

Anglican Mission – St. Epprian Church

Rev. George McKay was the first Anglican missionary on the scene. He arrived in Fort McLeod in 1878 and soon established St. Peter’s Mission on the nearby Peigan Reserve, which had just been formed and was being settled by native Piikani families.

This school continued until 1964 when Piikani children were transferred to the new elementary public school in Brocket.

Since the early 1950s, secondary students had been bused to municipal high schools in Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod.

Lundbreck Falls is a waterfall of the Crowsnest River located in southwestern Alberta, near the hamlet of Lundbreck.

It is located adjacent to where Highway 3A crosses the Crowsnest River, approximately 0.75 mi off of the Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3), between Pincher Creek and Crowsnest Pass.

The falls have a drop of about 39 ft.

And the water is crystal clear…

Day 14 Pincher Creek, Alberta – Waterton Lakes National Park, Glacier National Park – Whitefish, MT

A nice day to travel on Highway 6 crossing back in the United States near Babb then it was onto Whitefish MT.
