AJ, if you got the new Bushtec brochure (it says 'Celebrating 25 years of safety, style & performance! on the cover), well that is my color matched trailer on the Turbo +2 page.  When I came to pick it up last April Andrew had it in the studio and they had just finished the photo.

Whatever you decide I cannot recommend Bushtec too highly.  The product is great but much, much more importantly the Prestons and their crew are just first rate folks.  You will not be sorry if you go with them.  I can guarantee you that.

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

After all the commets about Bustec trailers, the quality and great customer service, the wife and I ordered a color matching Quantum Sport from John and crew about two weeks ago. Just sent off a side cover for them to match to. It's going to be just like the one they have pictured on their web site for the Sport. Can't say enough good things about the response I've had from John and Andrew. A great bunch to work with. I'll post some pics when it arrives in a few weeks. Unfortunately riding around here will be pretty much over by then but it will look great in the garage!   :orange:

Here's the quote I got while in Daytona. Color matched, 3rd light in spoiler, silver powder wheels, cooler package, chrome chassis, garment bag, & hitch installed + a few other doo dads = $4717.75

Momma's gonna need to find another job now that she's retired.

oh chit......  ???

AJ, it's a big chunk of change for something that won't get used that often.  If my experience is anything to go by, however, new isn't that much more expensive.  I spent $2600 for the trailer with nearly all the accessories already on it..  $500 to paint it and the extra set of fairing lowers.  Another $400 to the striper for the other paint work.  If memory serves me correctly it another $400 from Bushtec for the complete hitch and harness package.  So I've got about $4k tied up in the used one.

Granted, the paint costs could have been avoided.  And it's got just about all the bells and whistles they offer on it.  But in the end I didn't end up saving all that much.

If I pay $400 for the stripper I may have to be sleeping in it.

You're right though, for a very few dollars more I would get a brand new trailer that I will have for a long time.

Striper MJ, not stripper.  You've been living in the basement way too long :huepfenlol2: .

Striper - stripper, tomato - tomato, potato - potato.

Ok, MJ is right.  Know if one could pinstripe a stripper that would be worth paying attention to though.

AJ, the "color match" in their quote involved what?  Do you know if it was one color to that that predominant to the bike.  Or was it a multicolor job themed to match the lines of the bike in some way?  Just wondering if my good deal was really very good at all... :nixweiss: .

It is the same as Jerry's. Stock trailer comes white. This one would be base coated in Black Ice w/ Electric Orange stripes (unfortunately not by strippers for this price). Jerry's stripe had a little bigger base but I can choose the exact pattern.
