Don
I have pulled an American Legend trailer for thousands of miles.
Pulled it with an 80" EVO and realized, NOT enough motor.
Pulled it with a stock 88" T/C dresser, much better, but gas mileage sucked. (110 miles to a tank)
Pulled it with a 95" T/C, plenty of power and 135 miles to a tank.
With your bike at 120 square and discounting the pinging you should reach 150 miles easily.
Always and I repeat ALWAYS remember it's back there.
Don't try riding the white line on the edge of the road. Your trailer will be riding in the dirt.
Only fear or concern I have ever had about the trailer was stopping in the rain.
That's like 200 extra lbs of weight pushing on that rear tire.
I took mine to Daytona a few years ago. Left Charlotte in the rain. 500 miles later arrived in Daytona in the rain.
Hit a dead deer on I95 at 80 miles an hour. Not enough time to react. Scary seeing the trailer jump higher than the tour pak in the rear view mirrors. But after it was over, I thought, That wasn't to bad!
Always remember it's back there and ride with that in mind and it will be ok and you also!
Good luck.
And FYI
Home Depot sell Krylon Red, should only take 3 or 4 cans depending on the runs!
And one final thing,
When you get it packed, take 1/2 that chit out!
You don't need it!
